Job Description

As an MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) System Officer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of these critical building systems. Your role encompasses overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEPF systems in various facilities. By leveraging your expertise in these domains, you will contribute to creating safe, comfortable, and sustainable environments while minimizing operational risks.

Job Responsibilities

*Oversee the design and implementation of MEPF systems in buildings and facilities.
*Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety codes.
*Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate MEPF systems into overall building designs.
*Manage and schedule routine maintenance and inspections for all MEPF systems.
*Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in MEPF systems and coordinate necessary repairs.
*Supervise and train maintenance staff in proper MEPF system operation and maintenance procedures.
*Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-efficient strategies to reduce operational costs.
*Maintain records and documentation related to MEPF system performance, repairs, and upgrades.
*Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in MEPF systems.
*Collaborate with fire safety authorities to ensure firefighting systems meet safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in MEPF system management and maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Effective communication and team leadership abilities.

  • Project management skills for overseeing installations and upgrades.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for MEPF system analysis.

  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

  • Relevant certifications in MEPF systems management or engineering (e.g., P.E. license) is a plus.
